Annual Fund: Make a Difference Today
I love the idea of a group that raises almost all of its operating budget from an appeal only to members every year. It means that if we don’t think the PSA is worth supporting—it ceases to exist. Pretty rare these days—most non-profits have other means to keep them running but not us.

During my 10 plus years here at Philmont, I have seen and heard of many stories that are meaningful, life changing, encouraging, inspirational and influenced by our seasonal staff—many of whom are PSA members. High Country is just one of the neat things about the PSA. Getting back to the Ranch is another special one, for a PSA Annual Reunion or a PSA Trek. It’s an opportunity that not everyone has. I know not everyone can make it, but I suggest that you put it on your Bucket List. Bring the family and see the Ranch again. This summer’s reunion at Rocky Mountain Scout Camp was special for me. I enjoyed seeing the Ranch in full swing.
